Never thought I would see the day when a journalist would take fire on his coworkers over the stress of life, but things happen that way. At least in the case of Alison Parker, Adam Ward and Vester Flanagan.
41 year old journalist, Flanagan, opened fire on his co workers, Alison Parker 24, and Adam Ward 27 during a live interview in Virginia.
After opening fire, Flanagan faxed the news station 23 page document, referred to as a "suicide note" detailing why he decided to commit murder. In the document, he alleged that he had been a victim of discrimination and harassment in his past, which is what led him to eventually open fire. According to ABC News, “He says he has suffered racial discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying at work. He says he has been attacked by black men and white females. He talks about how he was attacked for being a gay, black man.”
